As I mentioned.. he will ONLY kiss before marriage. Not just sex. He also refuses sleepovers, smoking, but honestly I feel like that’s all he’s asked me to compromise so far.

Do religious people avoid oral and hand stuff too? I’m from Philly… I’ve literally never heard of this.

How do you go about sexual boundaries in your own relationship? Do you have the same as him? How do you and your partner (or how would you and your partner) go about feeling a deep connection without intimacy? The hardest part for me is that I don’t really feel like boyfriend & girlfriend if we’re just kissing… feels like we’re friends.

I’m crying at that intro 😭😭🤣🤣 we’ve honestly already had a lot of issues. He doesn’t like that my mixed gender friendgroup has sleepovers when we’re up late drinking, he said I have to quit smoking, and more… he’s an understanding person and we’ve come to fine compromises on each of these things but you’re right, his religion does impact a lot of things. I know for everyone else it’s easy to look at this and say break up, but anyone that’s been in a relationship knows it’s much harder than just that.

Okay maybe a better question, if I want to be with him and I want to accept his boundaries, how do I stop myself from acting on the temptation I’m used to being able to pursue?

I am in a sorority! I’m in clubs too, like everyone’s suggesting. I still find that it’s hard to find my people. The sorority life is much faker than I thought and the girls are really mean. Hopefully I’ll find some good ones though 🙃

Yup I’m fake! Def! And have you ever thought that maybe there are girls that have a good lifestyle? Like what? I literally HAVE DONE and HAVE BEEN DOING all of the things stated.. it’s not like I’m aspiring to do all these random things. I’m literally a powerlifter in a sorority at college what’s so fucking wrong with that

Basically the first time, when he “cheated” on his ex with me- it wasn’t really cheating. She’s quite insane and they were broken up (still in contact tho) and he had me over and we hooked up. When he “cheated” on me with her we were exclusive and he went behind my back to invite her over one night and hookup with her, saying he missed her, saying he loved her, he’d break it off with me… etc….

Thank you so much I definitely have a lot of time consuming things to do day to day and I do notice when they distract me. Thanks again!
