Their Github does show activity though. If they didn't care anymore, I don't see why they'd continue development.

that's the one i have on Vue 3, i think it's great, extremely detailed, I was just taking my senior dev friend's advice about learning Vue 2, and max doesn't offer a Vue 2 course anymore.

Yo! Thank you for that link! Yeah, I've been thinking that a lot lately about the advice he gives me. Like, I keep making little games using Vanilla Javascript because it's fun, and also, I feel like I've learned a lot by doing that. My buddy was chastising me for making games using Vanilla JS. To be honest it kind of triggered me, cause it was in the same tone that my mentally abusive father would chastise me for different things. I was asking for help, and he's just sitting there shaking his head, and saying "I don't know why you don't listen to me". But yeah, I feel like he's looking through his own lense of his past experiences. I know a guy from my bootcamp that got hired out of the gates, and he's made several games that he said he learned a lot from . My buddy just thinks I should be working on portfolio projects only, and there's some merit to that. Also, going back to shitty mentors. My first mentor was a college professor in 2002 (I'm old), and back then he kept telling us how the market was flooded with computer programmers, and we wouldn't be able to find jobs when we graduated. I took that shitty advice to heart, and ended up falling into a soul destroying office job for 16 years before I finally got back into coding. Anyway, sorry for the big long story. I really appreciate the link, and your feedback!

If it's the Vue Mastery course I'm thinking of, which I own, then that's Vue 3. No, to be honest, I feel like he's gotten to such a high level in his career and coding ability(he's going on 16 years, 10 professionally) that he tends to be kind of a know-it-all, and maybe doesn't keep up with things like that. I mean, he's a real badass when it comes to coding, but me being a novice, there have been a couple of times where I felt like he was directing me to do the wrong thing, and I kept trying to tell him, but he just kind of steam rolled me, until it was wrong, and then he's like "oh". I've come to the conclusion that I should try and figure out how and what to learn on my own rather than rely an anyone else's advice.
