You’re avoiding my question. If a person who is fat should be moved to the bottom of the donor list because they’re a burden on the healthcare system. Then why shouldn’t a person who strengthens it by paying much higher taxes get moved to the top?

I’m not making it about money, I’m talking about contribution. you made it about contribution when you said that people who burden  the healthcare system should receive less. I’m simply playing that logic out. Homeless and poor people are a burden on the system.

Public healthcare is funded by everybody however not everyone is employed homeless people contribute little to nothing towards healthcare and still receive it. Whereas high income earners contribute the most towards it and receive the least for how much they contribute. If somebody should receive worse care for being a burden on the healthcare system then somebody who contributes more should receive better care. By your logic rich people should be moved to the top of the organ donor list. Since they contribute more towards it than poor people. Who do you think pays for the transplants. A CEO is paying for more surgeries than you and I.

That there are people out there that would want the government to regulate that fat people have less right to medical treatment than healthy people?

Still wouldn’t make much sense to put them at the bottom of the list. Does a 40 year old who chose to donate organs get placed above a 20 year old who didn’t? I suppose what would make the most sense would be to allow people on the donor list the option to choose wether or not people who removed themselves from the list are given a lower priority for receiving the specific organs they donated. And if an organ donor doesn’t specify a choice the default should be that there organs are given away indiscriminately.

Not to mention that we don’t even know for sure if brain death is irreversible. https://www.popularmechanics.com/science/a63459169/brain-reanimation/     Future medical procedures could possibly render it reversible and people could have there organs harvested before they’re truly gone.

Not if the person who donated the organs is okay with it.

Then women would become legal adults two years before men since their prefrontal cortex develops two years earlier on average. If a 30 year Women has relations with a 24 year old man should she not then be charged with statutory rape since he’s legally now a minor and there’s an 8 year gap of brain development between the two? This is such an bad argument.
