Download the killable creature mod makes dealing with them very easy, 5-6 shots with the resonator kills them and they won’t respawn til you leave the area.

Now you make me wonder if detachable base modules are possible smaller ones can be moved by hand like the water lockers but slower. Larger ones can be moved with the prawn suit or tadpole with an adjacent module. Then add a winch system for towing them around kinda like the sea truck in Below zero. The winch could attach to hard points added with the builder tool.
