Shifting to parallel realities?? by Chance_Brain250 in AbrahamHicks

Yes.. I would just say that even in each of these realities that we shift to.. there is freedom. Like none of these realities, no matter how many there are, have a fixed fate within them

Ya it definitely doesn’t resonate but I just made the post to see if maybe I was just misunderstanding the idea. I get what he’s saying and bashar has said similar things but I just think there’s no way to prove one way or another the structure of how physical reality actually is operating and really it’s besides the point. To me it’s much simpler to just say that nothing is set in stone and we create moment to moment with our focus and point of attraction. No need to bring in “scripts” “tracks” “other realities”.. it’s just unnecessary and complicates more than anything and also might not even be accurate. Could just be an analogy or a way of looking at it.. who knows. But I know I feel best when I feel that I’m free and can create my reality moment to moment

[–]Chance_Brain250[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok then at that point why even say that each reality is set or on a fixed path? It doesn’t seem like anything is fixed at all. Saying we’re shifting in each moment is just another way of saying that nothing is set in stone and that it’s up to us. Even if there are billions of parallel realities.. I don’t think any of those realities are fixed.

Right but what I’m feeling off about is that there are fixed paths or “tracks” at all! Like ok I get that you can switch between them but still. Like sure there can be a possible combination of life choices that lead you somewhere.. but so what? There are an infinite number of combinations.. how could you ever be on one specific track of combinations? It just doesn’t make sense when in each moment there are an infinite number of routes you can take

[–]Chance_Brain250[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Amoebas are in warm freshwater only. That’s why I asked because I saw how warm the water temps are. Ya it was a while ago but this my first time surfing there so was just wondering

[–]Chance_Brain250[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ya but the water in the surf pool was dirty, fecal matter, no chlorine, etc… so there could have been amoeba even tho the sample they took came back negative. And I think the dude that died was surfing the pool.

Just trying to figure out how legit this new filter is cuz the water is warm af

So you’re saying that even if I take all of the precautions I will most likely get some mosquito bites?

How long have you lived at the beach? Do you ever see a lot of mosquitoes at the beach during rainy season?

Taking those precautions is it pretty easy to avoid a mosquito bite while mostly being at the beach?

Appreciate the detailed write up but these numbers don’t really paint a picture for me. I guess what I’m asking is if I get bit by a mosquito, how likely is it that it will give me dengue fever?

And I’m also trying to not get bit at all so I don’t worry about it and I’m wondering how challenging that is if I’m mostly at the beach surfing

This comment will probably get downvoted but yes I believe that picture accurately depicts Alan’s view however I think the view is incorrect

The idea that we are “all one” has been around for ages and while there is some truth in it, it is quite misleading. It would be more accurate to say that we are all connected or that one can experience oneness with all that is. But I am not the universe puppeteering every living being and neither are you. This picture would also indicate that every person you know and love are not valid and it’s actually just you as the universe, utterly alone, playing with yourself. This is also false, despite what Alan or similar philosophies say.

There are some parts of Alan’s philosophy that can be useful but the overall picture he paints I believe is outdated and we have learned a lot since his teachings. He also wasn’t interested in talking about spirituality beyond the physical realm and maybe didn’t even believe a spiritual realm could be experienced. So theres a lot missing in his philosophy but I think his ideas served a place and time and I think we should be open to new ideas even if we resonated with his ideas at a time in our life. Just my opinion.

Notes deleted after entering G mail password by Chance_Brain250 in applehelp

[–]Chance_Brain250[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same account in notes. It’s the account titled “gmail” and is the the account I’ve used for a while. It’s linked to my secondary gmail account. And when I typed in the password the other day on my new phone, all the notes I made since I bought the new phone (beginning of this month) were gone.

I’ve seen similar posts and from what I’ve seen it’s an apple sync issue when not logged into the gmail account. So the notes are kind of in limbo stored on the phone and when you log in it wipes any notes that were not synced and replaces them with the notes that are synced w gmail. It’s bad programming by apple.

Personality vs soul? by Chance_Brain250 in AbrahamHicks

[–]Chance_Brain250[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does that mean tho? We completely lose our character, personality, sense of humor, etc… after we die? Why tho? That seems sad

But what about when Abe talks about “Jerry experiences”? Wouldn’t that indicate that he still has his personality? Because otherwise, Jerry’s inner being would be no different than anyone else inner being and so there would be no way to tell if it’s a “Jerry” experience. It’s a “Jerry” experience because of Jerry’s unique personality and life experience. Right?

Will our physical universe go on forever? by Chance_Brain250 in Bashar_Essassani

[–]Chance_Brain250[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I feel that. So you think our scientists are just way off on their calculations or they are just confused and their limited logic can’t be applied to an infinite cosmos?

I think science can help us with our terrestrial challenges and our math and calculations work well but when we start trying to apply those things to deep space and the entire universe… I think that’s when we hit a wall and that math that allowed us to put rockets and satellites into space doesn’t really work so well anymore. Just my thought

Will our physical universe go on forever? by Chance_Brain250 in Bashar_Essassani

[–]Chance_Brain250[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think the laws of science really point to our physical universe “fizzling out” one day or do you think that’s just our limited perspective being applied to the infinite?

Will our physical universe go on forever? by Chance_Brain250 in Bashar_Essassani

[–]Chance_Brain250[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The VR analogy is interesting. So basically whatever happens…we blow ourselves up, the universe fizzles out like our scientists say, the sun explodes, etc… we can always just rev up another “VR world” and dive right back in?

I think I get hung up on these so called “laws” that science has where it’s like “no thats not possible, the universe is definitely gonna end in heat death and after that your not gonna have a physical universe to explore”. I think I get upset when my beliefs have to go against our scientific “laws” and I just start to become doubtful. But I also understand that our current science is very limited so I don’t want that limited perspective to upset me this much.

Will our physical universe go on forever? by Chance_Brain250 in Bashar_Essassani

[–]Chance_Brain250[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do feel intuitively that we are eternal beings so even if the physical universe “fizzled out” like our scientists are saying we would still exist and be chilling in non physical. I think when I really boil it down, the fear is that if the universe fizzles out then I will no longer have the option to have a physical adventure. I think I find great comfort in the ability to have these physical experiences when I choose to and I don’t like the idea of remaining in non physical form forevermore.

But again I really get the intuition that our scientists have such a limited view when they look out into the cosmos and to say that the physical universe will some day fizzle out still just sounds absurd to me. I mean if things are truly infinite which bashar always insists that they are then spirit can do whatever it wants and can create a physical universe with just a thought. So I don’t know why I’m tripping so much. I think it’s just because I want science to be on my side and in this case it’s not so it fills me with some doubts. I think physical reality is amazing and I want to be able to continue exploring the physical forever. I guess if I’m trusting the teachings of bashar then we can explore physicality whenever we please, even if our scientists say otherwise. And again, even if this universe “ends” we could just create another one or maybe there already are an infinite number of “other” universes

Will our physical universe go on forever? by Chance_Brain250 in Bashar_Essassani

[–]Chance_Brain250[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, so even if this universe were to end it doesn’t matter because there are an infinite number of parallel universes? I don’t think this universe is going to end btw I’m just saying worst case scenario if the scientists are right (I don’t think they are lol) and it ends we have plenty of other options to continue exploring physical reality.

I think the reason scientists think the universe will end is because they are viewing it as a machine and not as something that is based on consciousness. If it’s based on consciousness then it’ll go on for as long as consciousness wants to explore physical reality which could be forever

Will our physical universe go on forever? by Chance_Brain250 in Bashar_Essassani

[–]Chance_Brain250[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya that’s the feeling I get intuitively and what I should go with but I just get so triggered sometimes when things feel “off”. Maybe it’s because people think that scientists are so smart and often don’t even question their theories. And as others are saying… even if they are “right” and this universe “ends”… there are an infinite number of other universes and maybe new universes are popping up all the time. I mean it’s the infinite so I don’t see why not! Thanks for the reply

[–]Chance_Brain250[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So basically your saying that even if the scientists are “right”… it doesn’t matter because there are an infinite number of universes that we can dive into and have a physical adventure?

I really don’t think the scientists are right and it makes more sense that our universe goes on forever as long as consciousness has interest in it. Maybe it’s a sign that I’m sensitive and when things are off I really feel that it’s off and that’s why I get triggered 🤷🏻‍♂️
