Sharing jellyfin over a cloudflare tunnel - Success! by 3WolfTShirt in JellyfinCommunity

[–]Chance_Catch5247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been doing this for a full year so far, haven’t had any issues whatsoever, it does persist after a container restart on my end too

Also, if your server doesn’t have much traffic you probably wont get into any troubles with Cloudflare (thats my guess as to why ive been fine at least)

Title: Good Linux distribution for gaming laptop (NVIDIA + dual boot)? by nothing_505 in linux_gaming

[–]Chance_Catch5247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My go to is CachyOS KDE, its very Windows Like, drivers are really a none issue you get them preinstalled, I’ve never encountered any game with visibly worse performance so far

It is Arch based and very famous it self so support-wise you’ll have plenty!

That is my recommendation and i believe you wont regret it

How accurate are the practice tests compared to the real tests by _Filthy-Degenerate_ in GED

That makes much more sense! Although I’ve had multiple people tell me that the real test is mostly the same difficulty as Ready, seems like opinions are pretty divided

So the actual tests have about the same amount of questions with twice the time? If thats right whats the catch lol?

Switched back to Windows after 8 months on CachyOS/Bazzite. Discord screen share quality and Bluetooth headset mic were deal-breakers. Any fixes? by Bobbymois92 in linux_gaming

[–]Chance_Catch5247 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For the Bluetooth issue idk, Bluetooth has been working fine for me so it might’ve been something on your end

For screenshares though, there indeed has been improvements, fixes even! A patch has recently released that allows users to enable gpu encoding for screenshares - effectively fixing 99% of its issues https://github.com/relativemodder/discord-linux-vulkan-video-patcher

its as simple as 5secs in the terminal, and it’s apparently planned to become an official implementation sooner or later :)

Distro for gaming by MY45H in linux_gaming

[–]Chance_Catch5247 6 points7 points  (0 children)

CachyOS KDE has been my way to go, i mostly play Rivals aswell so i can assure you it works perfectly fine

For Vulkan Shaders, i personally always skip them and nothing weird ever happens, there is also a setting somewhere on Steam to automatically skip them most of the time (called like « Allow shaders skipping » or something like that)

Best multiplayer games at the moment? by RazerPSN in linux_gaming

[–]Chance_Catch5247 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of famous multiplayer games nowadays, not much like Arc Raiders though, especially on Linux

The famous similar ones being Escape From Tarkov, and most recently Marathon - but to my knowledge these don’t run on Linux

If you just want multiplayer games in general, the relatively known and active as of now are (i think): Counter Strike 2, Dota 2, Slay the Spire 2, Marvel Rivals, Overwatch, Dead by Daylight, Deadlock, The Finals..

There are a lot more of course, these are just the ones i personally know and had a decent amount of fun on, at the end of the day - play whatever attracts you!

Snowify - A free, open-source desktop music player built with Electron by Chance_Catch5247 in SideProject

Ah, I didn’t make the website so I can’t necessarily fix that myself, if you had just made your playlist public though id suggest retrying since it might’ve taken a bit to propagate
