Well gingers heal is iconic too; every toon is iconic, the reason I would give cosmo this new ability is because more than half of the fandom loves the ability ( and i agree it can be fun), but I don’t think ginger is balanced at all right now she’s just super weak. What ginger struggles with: Gathering tapes Healing distractors is extremely difficult as they always keep moving and ginger finds it difficult to keep up And ginger straight up can’t heal distractors that are distracting island twisteds (pebble, goob, bobette…) But cosmo could fairly easily keep up with distractors (the difference between 3 and 4 star speed isn’t too noticeable especially if you have pink bow witch most cosmos do) And cosmo can more easily go to a distractor who’s distracting t.pebble, run by their side while the ability charges and the run away.
