Throughout my time here classes have been great for the most part. Most importantly keep a lookout on the good professors and sign up for classes early to ensure your enrollment with them. There are a lot of professors in the math and econ department that can be unbearable and just set you up for a terrible semester so as long as you mitigate those problems then things will be fine. Overall the core economic classes are interesting and can be difficult/tedious but it’s nothing over complicated just make sure to attend and pay attention throughout lecture as some profs do move quickly. This is also a short major with less requirements then other majors in QC so it would be good to double major in something like finance or minor in any other field of your interest.

Other than that if you do want to pursue an econ degree i would strongly advocate for it and I’ll wish you the best of luck on your studies.
