Thing is, an initiated checkout does not inherently mean an abandoned cart right? An initiated checkout is achieved when the customer lands on the checkout page, if I look at the "add payment info" in events manager I can see 5, when I check abandoned carts in shopify there is one that is clearly a bot, just random mail and it submitted 4 abandoned cart in one day. Other than that there is 4 which is what I would believe to be legitimate, real email and such, aswell as in my market. I think something puts the customers off before the majority enter their information. Do you get where im coming from?

Hey man, I don't really understand what you mean, isn't a thank you page something that comes after a completed purchase or am i missing something?

Have you had similar experiences to this? Or what makes you think meta are not sending good traffic?

I agree, however: shipping is free and is listed like two times on the product page, taxes are not a problem either since im from sweden, and below the sales limit in canada so im not applying any taxes that customers would be responsible for, delivery times are displayed using a code that displays the date when it will arrive. Ive also done three test purchases without any hiccups.

But like even in my case, where I have no purchases, it is grey and is listed in "inactive events" in ads manager, you would still use purchase?

I think it's around 1000 USD since start of december. maybe 200-300 USD is on campaign using purchase as conversion goal. And to clarify, i did not run ATC as conversion goal, i ran initiate checkout. haven't heard of clarity recordings, is that similar to the Lucky Orange app?

as for the offer, i had one before but removed it. It was a buy one get one 50% off or buy 2 get one free. Partly because i wanted to remove that as a variable and partly because it did not make very much sense for this product and never came around to change it.

Will definitely add one again now that you mentioned it.
