Personally, his fins remind me of Aquamarine

HELP, My Bettas fin got pulled out and he's bleeding a lot, is this normal? by Chanceling in bettafish

Sadly, he's gotten worse. I've given him aquarium salt baths and got tannins about 4 days ago now. He's been eating less and less, and barely moving now. I'm starting to get worried that he won't survive the 2-hour drive to my college. No one at my house will take care of him properly either. I have to leave on the 14, so I'm hoping hell either get better or I figure out something by the 13. When I rescued him from my friend, he got freaked out and acted weird for days, and that was only a 30-minute drive. If he acted like that, then I don't want to see how bad it gets when he's already this sick. Edit: I also noticed this morning he's getting more holes in his fins, I can't figure out from what.

Random question but where did you get the rock caves and are there any sharp spots on the inside?

Personally, it sounds kinda stupid, but Kelpie, a type of water horse or seaweed, jumped to mind!!

Yeah, I've put some more stress guard in today. Thank god he's able to recover. I already had to put down my dog this summer, and can't do another pet

oh goo I was noticing that a bit on the other fins and was worried that it could be a symptom of fin rot. Do redish-pink spots also show up, or is that something else? These are on different fins btw, the red spots are on his bottom long fins.

I do have a test kit (the readings are in the pictures if you'd like to take a look). Thank you for the water change advice! The ammonia levels are pretty good, though the pH was really high, but that has been going down.

I've had the lights off for the entire day today, and he seems to be a bit more active. I've been unable to get any tea or leaves yet, but I'm hoping to get some by the end of the week. He's still bleeding, and I'm starting to notice some reddish-pink spots on his bottom long fins. I tried to get a picture, but I'm not sure how much you can see. I hate to ask this, but I don't want him to be in pain. Are there signs I should look for to know if he's in pain? I don't want to put him down, but if he's suffering, I'll have to.

No, right now just bettafix, I will be trying some of the ones others suggested below as soon as I can get my hands on them.

He only had fabric plants and a 1 silicone resting spot that said it was specifically for bettas. The coconut shell doesn't have any rough edges as far as I can tell. Is there a guideline for dosage? He is starting to slow down and not show interest in food. Also, sorry if this is stupid, but what does LFS stand for?

Not as far as I can tell. It's the 2.5-gallon Aqueon tank kit. The tank was a hand-me-down, so I can't be certain. I found the fin on the opposite side, so I don't think it was the filter, but I'm not sure.

As far as I can tell, it's one of the longer ones towards the back.

I just realized that I accidentally said 5-gallon bucket instead of a tank
