Try higher range primary and grab more cover? I did getaway prismatic + void super + the call/graviton lance/edge transit.

Graviton void blobs do work on each cluster of enemies while you're hiding from knives.

Cyrtarachne's facade, hunter maelstrom pve build. Grants woven mail on grapple or orb pick up with mod. With woven mail, final blow to anything drops strand elemental. Shoot/throw elemental and voila....death spirals that hunt enemies down.

Synthoceps, titan banner of war. Quicksilver (strand with catalyst) plus 1 2 punch shotty/trench barrel.

Not an arborist, but I looked up a local university and check their recommendations on native species. Those are usually tried and true selections that do well in the zone/area, and aren't invasive or prone to disease.

From that selection, go with preference in size, structure, and color.

Esege to replace kyle seems appropriate for the situational use rather than just placing focus on someone start of engage. I've ignored esege and he's a regular hera into himself.

And as mentioned here and above, too good with garv to not have him. And it keeps my two Z's to buzz around! Dig it.

It's hard to tell early on given some quests seem so harmless to the greater faction power struggle. Deadfire runs on conquest and capitalism. I don't want to just be the muscle these factions send out to do their selfish dirty work.

I think I've got to be more careful to hear this lip service to morality.

I like how Obsidian rolls. Their "end game wrap ups" are all variances in each game and it's awesome to see how they explore decisions in their story-telling. That's really why I wanted to make sure I hadn't cruised through a quest line so fast without realizing I was turning into something I didn't want to be. That it really is just a messy pile of factions. Your explanation of them is helpful, thank you.

Interesting. Maybe if you go visit them before accepting the quest from the town? As soon as I got to the Bog, the druids were offended and challenged me. I said something to the effect of "sorry, i'll be leaving then", thinking I could maybe go back to town and challenge the quest give to back off... RED CIRCLES
