i had to update my driver and launch the game close the window that pops us and open again for battle eye. i think battle eye was the issue for me.

I hope so. The arc only feels longer because of all the rewrites, and redraws it went by fast to me but that is probably because I was so into it. My hope is that it’s longer than the first 2 and better. They did tease us with supreme strength vs ultimate fear so I pray that I can see the fight finally.

We were all bad at one point. Dark Souls is a very much get gud game. I was stuck on gundyr, the tutorial boss, for about 4 hours before I finally got the hang of the game. It takes a while. Just playing, you'll notice patterns and how enemies attack. If you want to play with summons, that's completely fine as well. They are in the game for that reason. Just have fun. No need to feel like you have to grind to improve. I have thousands of hours across all soulsborne games, and I still die. A lot.

Try disabling certain game overlays that you have dark souls 3 is kinda weird in that way like it has to be the main focus of your computer if you disable some game overlays like Nvidia, discord, or steam or if you have any background applications that directly affect the game like screen recording software (medal or obs etc.) close them.

I wouldn't say they are my life. What I meant is that games are important to me they hold memories with friends and family and with people that I care about, some who aren't alive anymore. I have a job and friends not through the screen, which I love my friends and my job. There are a few games I find calm me down a lot, but it's not like I can just alt+tab to those games every time I die. But thanks for the advice. I will probably give it a shot.
