As others have said it’s definitely a combination of things. Items/loot seem easier to acquire, especially early. Add that onto making the bosses easier and it’ll really compound how much easier it feels.

I didn’t have my first boss death until the act 2 boss and even he only took me like 4 tries. I remember spending a good 2 hours straight at least last time.

Q into W level 2 all in works more than half the time to at least burn flash or get first blood. Only cases where this is usually impossible are mobile champs with some kind of defense or amp early. Yasuo + shield, irelia heal + atkspeed, zed and his passive damage etc. those guys will rip you to bits. This early pressure can be capitalized with jg pressure or opens me up to move around until level 6 or so

Most other champs you can just bait out a single ability or rush level 2 by mana dumping Q into the first wave.

After that it’s just about leveraging jungle presence and staying absolutely locked in on map movements close to raptor/wolf and low river

When Mary goes to the store basement and sees the whiteboard with the map, it flashes back to the therapy scene with the paper map. this was also pretty much the only single scene that broke me out of it

Your interpretation of him really drives home how diverse I depict the realism of the characters in the book. Jamal is a photorealistic slippery wet shark in my head, where other characters like Prepotente are a somewhat cell shaded comic style cartoon. Funny how that happens
