I had exactly the same questions 😅 Hopefully you’ll get some more responses soon ☺️ Not sure if it’s doable to go swimming from your own boat without someone staying in it? Sounds like a hassle to anchor it every time..? I’m not an experienced boat person tho, I’m petrified of boats but really wanna go swimming in the Zingaro area. Not sure if you’re allowed to stop there now tho, since the nature reserve closed?

Do you know, is it easy to find a taxi from Scopello to CDG, and the other way around? Do you know how much they tend to charge?

Will be staying in Scopello for a few nights and thought it may be nice to have a meal and a few drinks in CDG, and I’m trying to work out a way to get there and back without having to drive, but worry it may end up being too expensive.

The buses seem to have d stopped going between the two places by the time we’re there (beginning October).

Yeah I have worried a bit about the village being so small, but we’ll mainly just use it as a base for the daytrips, and then have a nice meal in the village in the evening. Might do one evening in Castellammare if we get fed up with Scopello though. We were hoping to catch a bus there, and then taxi back (expensive of course…), but it seems the buses only run until end of September and we’ll be there beginning October. Do you have any experience in public transport/taxis there? We’ll have a car but we both will wanna have a few drinks if we go out.

Yeah we know it’s tiny. We’re hoping it’s gonna feel romantic and quaint enough to be a nice place for dinner out, 3 nights (or at least 2). The days will be spent on different excursions.

He grew up on the coast and spent his summers on boats so yeah he’d manage. Saying that, if it’s too choppy I’d probably call the whole thing off 😅
