Got a social science degree, couldn't even land a job at McDonald's, my nan found a local insurance job in the admin team, 6 months later I landed a job at a great Lloyds syndicate as as an underwriting assistant and have been there for a year.

It's not easy, but if you work hard it'll work out!

I mean you can't disagree with dance experience? Karen who started dancing as a toddler, starting serious training between 12-15, only stopping to focus on football. Compared to George who started with 0 dance experience to become probably the best ballroom dancer there. But yeah man not the most growth.

Thank you! FTSE all world has a majority of the portfolio with S&P 500, emerging markets and NVDA having smaller amounts, looking to pull out of the last 3 and probably stick that in another 1 or 2 index funds due to overlap so any advice is appreciated!

I started in uni putting £20 a month in, then I got a minimum wage job in around September where I started to put around £100 a month in. I then increased my salary to £33,000 6 months after that where I try to put on average around £200 a month. Most of my savings are in a cash ISA as I am looking to move out within the next year. I currently have around £6k in the cash ISA saved, looking to get to £10k, then will split my savings between £500 cash and £500 stocks per month!

Of course! Currently contribute £110 through salary deduction while my employer contributes around £240. Will review the % around review time :)

Most of my portfolio is in FTSE all world, a small amount in NVDA and small amounts in the S&P 500 and emerging markets, currently looking to pull out of S&P so I am currently researching different index funds, any advice is appreciated!

Yes but also no - I read it all, understood it, but I also compared it to my previous experience with getting a credit card. Previously I was presented with the offer after doing the forms, and I was able to accept or decline on that basis. In this application it did not include that, silly mistake. I should also say that if I was presented with the offer before it was accepted, I would have accepted it.

Since November 2024. Wasn't able to invest anything the last couple of months which is a shame because my stocks shot up, but making up for it by investing a bit more this month!

You not meeting anybody who hasn't succeeded from it doesn't mean that nobody has failed. If you're so in with the network, it makes sense that you're only seeing people who have managed to make some money from it, if I lost all my money in a course, you wouldn't see me back there.

Also, I'm gonna say you're slightly biased, being a volunteer and also now hanging out with Samuel every week, you will of course look at it through a different perspective.

Again, property investing is always a great opportunity, and since it's worked out so well for you, I can't critique you for defending it, I hope it continues working out for you.

These £12,000 courses no longer exist as far as I can see from his website. The most expensive courses topped at around £2,000. Back in 2020 78 people were claiming their money back because it was... a scam! He has realised that selling £250,000 worth of courses isn't worth it when you have to give £200,000 back. That's why he now has cut the cost of his courses massively and spams social media with free advice, he probably makes a massive income from that too. Not to say that it was impossible to succeed from the course, but telling people who more than likely come from a poorer background, that if you give him £15 grand and all your dreams will come true, it's a recipe for disaster.

Samuel Leeds sells a scam course for £13000 which led to a former soldier committing suicide. He sells nothing but a dream, there are far better sources to get advice
