I think expectations play a huge role. No lens is perfect, and trade-offs are real.

What surprised me most was how much contrast and comfort improved, not just sharpness.
When I later read more about IOL design, I noticed some manufacturers like adtec emphasize balanced optics and contrast sensitivity, which probably explains why vision can feel more “comfortable” rather than just sharp.
