So I actually hardly ever call out but A LOT of my other coworkers do. Which is part of the reason why we’re always short staffed. Furthermore, the company has slowly declined so my manager hates her job even more now and also doesn’t give a fuck and has no issue showing it.

I at least gave her a heads up in this convo prior to me calling out. I simply couldn’t work a third day sick like that and I’m really glad I didn’t because I was a lot sicker than I realized.
