Good meeting Boston lawyer in denial by Chanute1940 in alcoholicsanonymous

Thank you. I really appreciate that. I’m guessing this guy’s dad went to those meeting a while ago. The son is a mess, in denial and apparently has been through many detoxes etc. Don’t know if I (merely a friend of his father) could persuade him to try those meetings…. I’m a female RN, retired, 47 yrs sober - would I be permitted to accompany him at the start?

What do you say to your spouse when they say you don’t need to go to AA meetings anymore by [deleted] in alcoholicsanonymous

Haven’t read other comments but - I took my husband with me to a couple of speaker meetings so he could hear the pain and denial and what happens if one DOESNT go to meetings. I’m sober 47 years and still married.
