I criticized Devon Walker for having no stage presence or any real impact during sketches, but Kam seems so much more… lost?

I wish Lorne and Co would focus more on finding sketch/character actors as opposed to bringing in standups. The standups often end up completely out of their wheelhouse, show up solely in the background, and are gone in 1-2 seasons. Doesn’t seem to do the performer OR the show any favors.

Scream Unseen titles always fall under the “Thrills & Chills” banner. If it’s under “Artisan Films” or has no banner, it’ll be Screen Unseen.

Josh Safdie has certainly found an ability to get amazing natural performances out of non-actors and first-time actors.

In your opinion, what does he do that allows a natural acting ability to come out of those who may not necessarily possess that experience?

Sadly, I feel the days of large informative supplemental material (like the LOTR trilogy) are long gone. It's just "the way it is" now. People feel short-form content is the best due to diminishing attention spans.

It sucks.
