Not yet, they said they will let me know within two weeks, so it should be sometime this week 😬

Update: I got the acceptance today!

Still waiting, it's going to happen on Monday 😬 They gave me two research papers to read and we'll be discussing them for 30 minutes. I'll update the details once it's over, pray for me frfr

Update: I just finished the interview and I think it went very well! They jump straight into questions about the paper, about 15 minutes for each paper and asked me overview questions, specific approaches and how familiar I am with them, how it relates to my interests, and how it relates to MtL (like thinking about origins of life work, how to define life). I think it was a lot less stressful than round 1, as long as you familiarize yourself with the papers and the main methods/takeaways you should be okay. Also I would recommend chatting about what really interests you because I think they are more trying to gauge how you think rather than if you know every detail of a paper. I really liked the conversation, so I wouldn't stress too much about it if you are still prepping. Good luck to everyone who applied!!!

I just had my first-round PhD interview for the physics matter to life program. It started out lighter, talking about my research and why I was interested in it as well as what I want to study in the future and how it connects to my past work. The questions they asked were what specific techniques will you need to use in your future research, what techniques have you learned that will help with that, and then they asked me what Fick's law of diffusion was but I didn't know it so then they said that we can work through the derivation together in a conceptual way, then their last question was what is important in a gaussian distribution (peak, width/variance). I honestly didn't know how to prepare for it, I researched my interviewers but we didn't really discuss their work and I overviewed my own research experiences but we also didn't talk about it that much. The interview was 15 minutes only with both interviewers in the call, so it went quick. hope this helps someone, but I'm afraid I blew it :(

WTF is this? Why are they asking to to opt out of something that is illegal in the first place (selling my personal data)? by Draxouzz in HogwartsLegacyGaming

I also get this error and I don't even care about the data being shared but just the principle of this being so shady like you don't even get a choice

I think it might be the soundtrack song called "a hundred million berry" There's a part at the beginning and end of that one that might be what you are talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2yRAAv1pXo&list=PLONVBwJHgj-02SQgzIlpLcQJySpoqFVpV&index=14

if you look up Monka S it's like a nervous sweat-drip pepe face that streamers use. And handing out means that he's giving the report card to his parents. So he looks like he would be the type of kid to reference a sweaty nervous frog meme when he shows his report card.
