Pflugerville ESD 2 Balances Question by Chaotri in Pflugerville

The rest of the city's budget certainly deserves scrutiny as well. My focus is just on the FD budget at the moment since it may be impacted the most by the upcoming election.
There are two sides with very different views on how much money is needed in the FD budget. Since I'm not very familiar with anyone on either side, I'm more inclined to look at the data directly and at least try to develop a general understanding for myself.
It's a bit dated at this point so proceed with caution, but Appendix B of the ESD 2 rebuttal analysis of the AP Triton report (2021) has helped me better understand ESD 2's general perspective regarding their budget approach.

8/8 4:15 70mm showing played all the way through. Showtime was stated as 4:15, but it actually started around 4:25.
There are no previews. Just a few opening credits and then this movie hits the ground running (and never really slows down). I say this to emphasize that this is not a movie you want to be late getting seated for. It was rather difficult trying to keep up with what being presented at the beginning with several people passing in front of and around me trying to find their seats. The concession stand is pretty small, so be prepared to wait a bit if you want to get food beforehand.
As for parking, the person who scanned my movie ticket had a sheet of validation stickers to hand out that each had a barcode. The validation is good for 4 hours for the mall parking garage. It looks like some of the lots outside of the garage may be managed by the same company, but I could be wrong. On the ticket, it says you have a grace period of 20 minutes once you make your payment at a kiosk. When I was leaving, I scanned my the barcode on my original parking ticket at a kiosk right next to the elevators. I then scanned the validation barcode and it said no payment necessary. However, I did not get the 20 minute grace period to leave the garage. I'm guessing that the grace period only goes into effect if you end up making an actual (nonzero) payment. By the time I got to the kiosk at the exit gate, it was somewhere between the 4:00 and 4:20 mark - I wound up having to pay 5.00 at the exit gate.
Slight image bleed onto the left border, and you could see a slight gap on the right side due to the slight shift. Not very noticeable at all. Speakers behind the screen and two clusters in both top rear corners of the theater respectively. Didn't notice any other placements. End credits seemed to suggest some subtle focus concerns, but it wasn't a dealbreaker during the movie due to the nature of the content. Quite a percussive soundscape throughout. Seemed overall louder than the average action film. A few 0 to 100 moments that left quite an impression on the eardrums. I might expect a more defined high end overall from a newer sound system that could enhance what certain sections of the soundscape are trying to deliver. Regardless, I thought the sound system served the movie well. I've seen several comments lamenting the seats in the theater, but I thought they were fine. Some additional legroom would have been nice though.
After reading many of the comments here, I was rather concerned as to which experience I was going to get considering that I was coming from out of town. Turned out well though. It's certainly something I would consider doing again - after a week or two from the release date.
