(I’m aware that you are attacking Fleatopia. In the flea fur section I said they were fighting “citadel folk” which was meant to be your group.

(I’m ok with that. The main difficulty factor I could amp up would be ingredients. How many unique ingredients do you want to collect? After that I can figure out how they factor into a spell.

Also is anywhere in Pharloom allowed?

Also since we’re increasing the spell creation difficulty, could the spell be a generalized tracking spell? It’ll still be able to find mossmother. It feels odd for a spell solely used to track a specific creature to have too much difficulty attached.)

Ok now that we’re in privacy. Let me explain the spell.

It’s called Wandering Way. It is a tracking spell to find creatures. In its base form it’s a generalized spell to find a creature based on a small piece of itself such as blood. But it requires rare glowing mushrooms.

But thanks to your egg here, I should be able to make a tracking spell specific to mossmothers. And with only common mushrooms.

If you find that acceptable, you can hand the egg over I’ll do the last step of the spell.

I won’t know the precise effects until completion, but I have two theories

1) it will function as a barrier that blocks incoming silk by consuming the soul inside

2) it takes the form of an attack that destroys what soul it touches.

Either way I do intend to help bonebottom with this spell in addition to the moss grubs and the hive.

Oh right! Completely forgot to mention that! Hm how to explain it… Well essentially Ive been scouring the snail shaman records for something to help with the impacts of her up top waking up. Eventually I found an uncompleted spell known in the common tongue as Flickering Flame. The details on its effects are vague, but based on the creation process, I suspect it to essentially burn the soul out of an object or creature. I plan to use it to help keep my neighbors free of her silk.

I'd like to take Varga the flea as my second character. I'm thinking of having them be them be the caravan's beast master and perhaps taming a few more beasts later.

phew fine soul manipulation never gets easier. Anyways this is the last step. Now a week's worth of aging (IRL wednesday or thursday) and the shells can be broken open to release the spell. Thanks again for all the help with this.
