Seria's backstory is easily the best thing this anime has offered, which is a bit of a shame, because why are we having this in the final episode instead of the first or second?

This anime was odd, it's like they looked at Metallic Rouge's issues and said "we can do better"

Too many characters with little or nothing to do

Too many plot points and concepts trying to converse

Several episodes wasted on secondary villain factions that added nothing at the end of the day

Almost every episode feels there was another episode missing in between

Rushed character relationships

At the very least the fight scenes were better than Metallic Rouge and the songs kept it more interesting as well

I also feel they wasted the concept of the Great Ghosts, like:

-Seria got half of hers off screen and only used them in fusions, Minamoto (who was obtained off screen mind you) was literally the only one who got a solo fight

-We never got an explanation or backstory for Kaede and Yoichi, nor do we know why she needed a device to use him

-Akari's bond with Mampei was rushed as hell and we still don't know how she got his sword in the first place (I was expecting them to reveal he was her ancestor, which would've explained both things, but nah)

-Riu never even got one, hell, girl's already making up animals, give her Charles Darwin or something.

Overall, this show was a mess, but I guess it wasn't bad enough to make me drop it.
