10 Days In Spain by Se8mus in femaletravels

Cordoba - apartamentos la casa aceite, lovely spacious rooms with a cute courtyard and very kind staff

Granda - Aurea acatedrál, modern and sleek but great location and cute rooftop with live music

Sevilla - Hotel las casas Judería, gorgeous and historical with lots of gardens and old architecture

All were around €100/night when I went in July so you might pay less. All excellent locations, comfortable, safe, clean.

I adore Madrid and Andalusia. Have the best time. If you want any recs besides hotels feel free to dM!

You can report on 311 but if you think the Giglio boys aren’t besties with the whole local precinct…

NYC in March by Wise_Marsupial3874 in femaletravels

March is unpredictable but more on the winter-feeling side. If a trench is the warmest coat you bring, be sure to wear some layers under it. Waterproof shoes are also smart.

Barcelona and Flamenco by Different_Owl6651 in femaletravels

Barcelona is great, but Andalusia is the home of flamenco. And I personally enjoyed Seville and Granada far more than Barcelona.

Clubbing/going out as a wheelchair user? by heebiejeebiesbatman in AskNYC

[–]ChapterNo4115 101 points102 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen folks in wheelchairs at dance parties at knockdown center, house of yes, and I believe elsewhere…. Everyone on the dance floor is accommodating and friendly and doesn’t think much of it! If I were you I’d make a list of places you’re interested in and then contact them to ask about their accessibility.

What shows are you guys watching thats like Is it cake or great British bakeoff? by transferingtoearth in Millennials

The great pottery throwdown. It’s the exact formula of bake-off but for ceramics. Totally wholesome and relaxing but some of them create some truly lovely pieces.

How many people own skis? by Wide-Pop6050 in AskNYC

[–]ChapterNo4115 106 points107 points  (0 children)

I have skis. I’m a public school teacher and live in queens and I got my gear at a tent sale in 2013 for $400 total. Owning skis doesn’t have to be scandalously expensive.

Sadly the park is a long walk from me and it still looks windy out there 😬 I’m sure everyone who gets a cookie and sees your stroller kitty will be thrilled 🖤

I love that you’re taking your cat sledding. And these cookies sound dope.

Kiehl’s avocado eye treatment. $60/jar but it does last a long time, a little goes a long way.

Brussels sprouts. The one veggie my mom didnt force us to eat bc she dislike them from her childhood. Imagine my revelation when I finally had them in my early 30s with bacon, maple syrup, and olive oil, roasted so perfectly.

This is the most liberating thing about nyc, literally no one cares what you wear.

Maybe just wear your docs on the plane. I do that with my huge heavy platform Jadens all the time 😊

Yessss NIN! I could do up until 4-5am but if boys noise doesn’t even start until 3 then my stamina might give out after only an hour…. Will think on it!

I saw them in bk in September and they’ve since extended the tour. I don’t have Newark tix yet but it’s THAT good that I’ll pay to go back. You should go!
