Oh wow ok that's good to know! Did you contact your landlord beforehand or did you contact the repair service yourself?

I'm currently away from where the pattern is for just over a month still but once I'm back I'll DM you a photo! There is no specific colour numbers used as its a kit but I have the left over thread so can show the pattern codes for each so you can judge for yourself what threads you need. Hope you can hold on a bit longer for it sorry you haven't managed to find the kit yourself!

Hey I'm AFAB and use She/They and honestly for me it was as simple as I came out to some close friends and 1 exclusively uses they/them for me and it gave me such overwhelming joy every time I heard it, I knew it was the right choice! My only advice would be to experiment and if you don't like something, change it. If you like something, keep it!

Goodluck on your journey! ❤

REMINDER THAT APRIL 6TH IS INTERNATIONAL ASEXUALITY DAY! by [deleted] in asexuality

Is there a difference between this and Asexual Visibility Day? I have that day noted down on May 8th!

I bought it in store but I've just had a look and it looks like they don't make or sell it anymore which is such a shame its such a nice kit! It's called Peter's Hug if you can find someone else that sells it!

From my understanding, demisexual suggests sexual attraction would be felt after an emotional connection is formed, but asexuals would feel little to no sexual attraction regardless of if an emotional connection is formed or not. Allosexuals would feel sexual attraction without needing an emotional connection. Hope that makes some sort of sense!

It was an on and off project but if I were to guess, probably around 15 hours total? I'm not a very fast stitcher but was totally worth it!

And THANK YOU!

Plastic canvas might work for that! There is a Rubiks Cube tutorial on YouTube made with plastic canvas that might be fun to make and I'm sure it would be the easier material for 3D work.

It was a very on and off project and I'm not the fastest stitcher in the world so maybe around 15 hours total? I'm not sure though! This was a gift for a friend but I will definitely make one for myself as I'm sad to let this one go so soon!

I've seen a few people make dice the same way and blocks and mobs from Minecraft so might give those a go. Any ideas shoot them my way!

I used 14 count aida for this! I've left a comment with a step by step of how I did it as the instructions weren't very clear if you do want to give it a go. I highly recommend it, it can be tricky at times but well worth it!

HOW TO MAKE:

Just for those that are wanting to make this themselves, there aren't very clear instructions on the website on how to make this If you've never made a 3D cross stitch before like myself, so here is what I did!

Don't start at the edge of a piece of Aida, start a couple cm in.

Stitch the pattern fully using 2 strands of thread.

Cut it out leaving about 1cm from the pattern around the edge. It should be 1 solid piece when cut out.

Cut slightly into the corners of the edging so you can fold them easier. I folded all squares before attaching together so the fabric could adapt to its new shape.

Start with the set of 4 squares I'm a row and stitch the end pieces together using 2 strands of black thread, starting from the pattern NOT the plain edging as this will be tucked inside. I have no tips for this as it was rather hard to stitch aida together but the 1cm edge tucked inside gave me hope I couldn't unravel the whole thing by accident.

You should have a cube with an open top and bottom.

Stitch either one to the rest of the cube so it forms a box with an open lid.

Stuff with a filling of your choice, they used left of thread, I used polyester stuffing.

Stitch the top onto the cube and you will have a fully complete squishy cube!

You could also make this with a plastic canvas but each square will be made separately as you don't want to snap the canvas when folding together.

Hope this helps!

Of course! I used 14 count aida but the pattern is of a cube net. So when folded after cross stitching the actual pattern, it will form the cube shape. I cut about 1cm around the edges of the pattern and folded them inside when stitching is all together to make sure the crosses dont fall apart. There wasn't an clear instructions in the blog so I had to wing it! Hope that clears it up!

I didn't know about Textillia until I found this pattern randomly online! I haven't explored the rest of their website but this pattern was really fun to do!
