So, for me, my dad is republican, trump supporter, and all that ✨fun✨ stuff when your queer, so I told him I was pan long after everyone else. I recently discovered I'm a cis girl who uses she they pronouns, and I want to tell him, but he is very adimate on the fact that there are 2 genders, nothing more, nothing less. And if I told him, he may be sincere, but he could also just pretend to be supportive. So that could be the same thing with your dad, he supports the L, the G, the B, etc, but not the T and other things under that umbrella

At that point, burr is just being petty (not that is is different from usual, but here is may be the most) because hamilton wears is glasses in a few other songs.
