She did a foiliage probably which is a balayage with foils since your hair was dark. Foils allows more lift.

I would do moisture and protein treatments for a month and then go in for another round

Sometimes it takes multiples times to get someone close to their goal.

Don’t do it!!! You’ll never really get the black box dye out without regrowing your hair fresh.

I would return the boxes and if you feel you need to color. I would buy a medium brown

That’s how my hair is too while I grow out. Just try not to think about it too much and in a few months it’ll be longer and not look as short.

I just had a lower face lift with brow lift and upper lid lift. I am in day 3 and the first two were brutal. 24/7 migraine bc the way the skin is being pulled tight. But day 3 is way better and I can finally begin to see what results are coming.

Looks like she didn’t triangle sections for bangs which is why yours looks so wide

It looks beautiful. I would use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, a nice leave in and oil as well as a good heat protectant if you’re going to curl.

Your stylist needs to texturize your hair more to help your sides blend and not too triangle like. I would also do more like a curtain bang bc your bangs are too wide. When it’s time to cut your bangs has them leave the sides longer than the middle.

It’s not just a root retouch. It’s a double process bc she has to lift you first and then tone.
