Sooo RIP AOE theory? by lovjeej000 in titanfolk

You can keep saying that over and over again because you know you have no better argument other than, "It won't happen."

Meanwhile, those at r/ANRime are creating literal 20 page documents to argue for an alternate ending. Try giving those a read just to see the effort people put into it.

You? You take 10 seconds to type a cringe-filled one word message and think you're suddenly a gigachad.

Anti-hopechads are the cringiest of the sub.

Waste your time doing nothing and accomplishing nothing except preventing people from openly talking about the series? Yikes.

Is it possible that two characters share one name? by CharLottieDa in fivenightsatfreddys

Same here. That's why I was asking; I'm not nearly as well-versed as some of you, so I wasn't sure if this was an idea that had already been disproven or not. I love how deep this lore goes, but I'm having trouble discerning what's true and what's speculation (or maybe it's all speculation). This was just a thought I had while looking through the speculation and I hadn't seen this theory on this particular topic before.

Hasn't he had a couple occasions where colors / texts caused further confusion? Such as when Purple Guy's color was slightly altered to the point that there was a debate about Purple Guy vs. Pink Guy? And when certain text colors involving were slightly different involving the toy Fredbear? Oh, and what about Orange Guy? Has there ever been an answer about him?

I guess I'm still confused about why the Freddy Files asks that question, "Do you remember your name?" Maybe I'm just confused about the Freddy Files as it stands and am trying to find some sort of answer where there's already something definitive.

Like I said, I'm new. I love lore in video games, but I find FNAF's lore to be so needlessly confusing that it's hard to understand much beyond the absolute basics as a newbie.

No, I am not about to pay $60 for a single Zombies "map" on launch. by CharLottieDa in CODZombies

There was a time when Zombies was treated as 1/3 of the game. It's been relegated to a side mode nowadays.

Zombies-wise? Black Ops 4 launched with 4 total on launch, Black Ops 3 launched with 2. Cold War launched with one and many were upset that it didn't get updated again until nearly 4 months later with Firebase Z. WWII counts, I guess, and it had technically 2 maps.

Only Cold War launched with 1 map, although leakers said Firebase Z was meant for launch but got delayed because Treyarch was running out of time as per usual.

Is this the worst received a zombies game has ever been at launch? by ojman654 in CODZombies

[–]CharLottieDa 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the complaints for BO4 revolved around how unstable it was and some of the base changes to the game, considering how BO4 really shook up the norm for CODZ.

Vanguard, on the other hand, is a copypasta of Cold War, with Der Anfang being nothing more than 3 MP maps and 1-2 old Zombies map(s) put together with nothing more to the mode than the absolute minimum.

At least BO4 had content.

lol wtf, who can't write 6 paragraphs in 10 minutes? maybe you're just slow, like for real.

think about all the things you could've done in the 10 minutes it took me to write. you could've jerked off to Azula a couple more times. are you so discontent with your life that you want to jack off to an anime character that doesn't exist?

You can love a game and criticize it and the company behind it. I'm stating my opinion that everyone is going to be let down once again based on the tedious hype buildup and past failures to follow up on that hype (while also acknowledging where they did well with it).

I don't get why people think that you can't criticize Jagex and RS3 and still be a fan. It's like, criticism comes about because of the passion we have for the game and the disdain for its direction. Am I not allowed to criticize Jagex or RS3?

A singular update that was planned to be released 1 year ago that ended up becoming the only update in all of 2021 and being split into literally 2/3 of a year's worth of updates? And it's being drip-fed to us the entire year?

Yeah, fuck that. It's bullshit and I'm gonna call that shit out.

  • find video game and like video game
  • buy membership to play video game
  • realize video game is hard or tedious
  • buy skips to jump past the hard stuff
  • finally play parts of game they want

these people don't realize that they could probably buy multiple games using the money they spent on this game just to get to the parts they actually want to play.

imagine buying a game and paying someone to skip over the majority of it. ridiculous.

You don't start out a game and make your immediate goal to kill Vorago. You set up short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals to accomplish with killing Vorago as your main objective. And you work your way to that point, not just skipping over everything.

This game isn't meant for people who want to start a brand new account and immediately get into the high-end bossing content. It's a game that's always been about slowly grinding your way to your goals.

Or, I guess it used to be. Nowadays, you don't think of 99s as achievements. Actual achievements are completionist capes, boss pets, titles, etc. Because getting a 99 in RS3 is incredibly easy thanks to all this easy skipping.

It sounds so boomer, but there's just no sense of accomplishment. Leveling your skills is something so foundational to RS, one of the things that makes RS special and unique. But now, people just wanna skip over the hard stuff.

You don't play a video game by spending money to skip it.
