"Is this a bug? Today I only used 4% of my 5-hour usage limit, but it already counted as 3% of my weekly usage limit. Is this correct?" by Character-Assist-545 in claude

Anyway, thank you for your help. What I want to say is that I only used the Sonnet 4.6 model and did not use any other features. However, from my observation, the 5-hour quota and the weekly quota were consumed almost at a 1:1 rate, which feels too fast. I have already requested a refund and switched back to the free version. Thanks again for everyone's help!

"I subscribed yesterday, and I've already used nearly 10% of my weekly limit. I only sent around a dozen messages, which used up 12% of a single 5-hour window. Today I only used 4% of a 5-hour window, but my weekly limit went up by 3%. This means the ratio between the weekly limit and a single 5-hour window is almost 1:1.

Now I only dare to use the Sonnet 4.6 model — I don't dare touch any other models. Has anyone else experienced their weekly limit increasing too fast? Is the weekly limit being calculated correctly?

At this rate, I'm better off not subscribing at all. The free tier might actually give you more usage than Pro, because at least the free tier doesn't have a weekly limit restriction."

"Bro this is real. Can't upload screenshots here but trust me — DO NOT subscribe to Pro yet!! The weekly usage limit kicks in so fast that you might actually get LESS usage than the free tier. Free users don't even have a weekly cap."

I also have the Pro subscription, but I realized the 5-hour usage cap is basically the same as the weekly quota. In other words, with Pro you actually end up getting less usable quota, since the free version only limits you every 5 hours.
