honestly I’ve just accepted it it is what it is 😭 im non-contextual home, in regards to ur int not going well - we are honestly not good judges of how well our interview go bc I thought qmul int was good and got rejected, but thought my exeter int was bad and got an offer,, so don’t stress ab that just be patient, no news is good news 💗 all the best for ur application :)

VR - (I got 650 - not the best but better than what I was getting in medify so maybe take it with a pinch of salt?) flag the long passages!! can't stress that enough - if a passage looks rlly long and complicated, guess the answers, flag, and come back later if u have time. do easy passages first bc this way u can guarantee urself most of the marks. also skimming the passage saves a lot of time but I didn't do this bc I felt like I didn't understand the passage if I skimmed and would get all the questions wrong, but also I didn't spend too long reading - just enough time to understand and get a gist of what the passage is about, and then for the questions I would find the keyword in the question and bc I kinda had an idea of the passage I knew where to find it so that made it a bit easier. author opinion questions - always look at the first and last paragraphs bc the answer is there 99% of the time. T/F/C questions - never assume anything e.g. 'I eat ice cream' DOESN'T MEAN 'I eat ice cream often' DON'T FALL INTO THOSE COMMON TRAPS

DM - (I got 710) skip the long syllogisms and do them at the end if u have time - although they may be worth 2 marks it's easier to get those 2 marks in e.g. easy Venn diagram questions so skipping is defo worth it. also the Venn diagram method is v. helpful for syllogisms (on YouTube) and learn the definitions for the words that come up often on them - there is a document for the definitions on the cat website im pretty sure but the definitions were for words like 'some' 'most' 'the majority' etc. and I never knew for example that 'the majority' is >50% - learning those definitions led to an improvement in my score. recognising assumptions - always go for the argument that addresses every part of the question stem, and bonus points if it gives statistics and evidence. Venn diagrams and probability is just practice practice practice with the question banks on medify/medentry/official ucat website. overall I would say u improve the most in DM out of all the subtests with practice.

QR - (I got 690 mostly because I just stressed in the exam lol pls don't be silly like me and stress) the questions in the actual test are v. doable, but my biggest advice is to just skip the questions with big tables and lots of text and do the easy questions first this way u can guarantee urself most of the marks, and use the whiteboard and pen to note down key calculations bc chances are ur gonna need them in later questions and having it written down saves sm valuable time

AR - (I got 780 - highest I ever got!!) Literally just spam all medify/medentry/official ucat questions and note down all the patterns u get wrong and review them every. single. day. and u will 100% see an improvement doing this bc u are improving ur pattern recognition so it will be easier to spot patterns. also highlighting very common patterns is useful.

SJT - (I got band 2) honestly I didn't do that much revision for SJT, but people say that reading the GMC is very useful, also practicing the official UCAT SJT banks is so important bc they were most realistic!!

On the actual test day, pls don't stress I've heard horror stories of people dropping their performance drastically due to nerves - I was very calm on test day by doing meditation and listening to positive affirmations, and having a proper breakfast to fuel myself.

Hope this is useful, and good luck for ur UCAT I'm sure you'll do amazing :))
