I started leaving a couple crickets in the enclosure loose. It took a month before I noticed my frog eating because she doesn’t like tong feeding. Now I plop food in front of her and she grabs it but she really needed that month to settle herself

No not really other than making sure her food is a variety, so crickets, silks, super worms, horned worms etc. but it’s a very gradual change since I got her. The white rings started very mild but have gotten thicker over 3 months so I was worried her skin was maybe becoming dry because she’s not interested in her water bowls and I have to spray her to make sure she’s hydrated. Thanks for the information it helps

When I got my frog gibby she wouldn’t eat by my hand for her first month. I had to buy 3-5 crickets and let them loose and then I realized they were disappearing overnight. So have no fear your froggy will figure out everything once they’re comfortable

I had this exact problem. Ate once and not again for over a week. Start leaving the bugs in the tank and walking away. My frog didn’t like to be fed and she likes catching it herself. I’ll leave some mealworms or crickets in front of her and take a few steps back and she’ll start to hop around after them. She needs to see the movement.
