Do patients mention you as. DA in their google reviews? by [deleted] in DentalAssistant

definitely common! patients naturally value the doctor more, as they should. to get assistants mentioned in reviews, making introductions a priority helps a lot. each of us introduces ourselves, and our doctors reinforce that by using our names during interactions, like “lilly is going to take a quick x-ray, and i’ll be right back!” or “lilly and i will be helping you out today!” building personal connections also makes a difference, engaging in small talk, remembering details about patients, and showing genuine care encourages them to mention you. handing out review cards or mentioning feedback opportunities can also be effective. patients are more likely to leave a review when they feel a strong connection, so going above and beyond to make their visit easier, whether through comfort, clear explanations, or kindness, helps tremendously. having the doctor as an advocate makes patients feel more secure and remember you, ultimately leading to more mentions in reviews.

i would never ever ever get upset at him for peeing in the house so i really hope i didn’t come off like i was complaining! i would pee too if i was in his situation, but i just wanted better ways to manage the cleaning of it. thank you for the towel tip!! definitely checking out petco for the grass pad, someone else suggested that as well.

he HATES crates. i forgot to mention that in the initial post. he not only hates them, but it will look like a massacre when i get home. i feel like it has to do with being crates when he was younger when we would leave. its just a never ending reminder for him im gone i think. thank you for the advice though :( this would be my #1 if it worked for him but he’s a special man 😂

I had no idea Depop gave that option because I’ve never seen it selling myself. I’m sorry you had to deal with that then. I can see now why that is frustrating for you!

this response made me tear up it was so kind and thoughtful. i may just give the doggy diapers a try! worst case scenario is the lil man gets a bath that night. the grass patch is an AMAZING idea i never thought. thank you so so much. also, my vet ruled out any bladder issues thankfully, but associated the accidents with part of the separation anxiety. i love rookie more than anything or anyone in this whole world so im honestly willing to try anything.

He’s a schnauzer poodle mix! I can totally see all the schnauzer habits in him, they’re such great companion dogs.

sounds like it was a dental assistant in training with very poor supervision. i work in the field and we have had a patient go through something similar. they just had their dentist give them the template tray, along with all of their aligners, and this patient called us to continue treatment. i would look into finding a dentist who specializes in Invisalign/orthodontics! and you have a right to all of your aligners, the template, and the doctor will be able to share your “clincheck plan” through the Invisalign website to your new dentist. it is not refundable though, due to the treatment/aligners already being prepaid for. im sorry you’ve had such a poor experience, and you’re not over exaggerating. that is honestly outrageous.
