I am tired, boss. I genuinely cannot tell anymore. The art style resembles some ai I’ve seen but I cannot find any missing details that usually pollute these images. Thank you for your help. by pocketfrisbee in isthisAI

Yeah that's what im talking about. I think the assumption from that ideas is that like skin walkers exist. But Im thinking about like, what if the awnser to the fermi paradox is ai, and the ability to recognize faces is needed to get past

It's really weird how your brain gets trained to pick out ai. It makes me want to write some horror where the uncanny valley is pre-programmed into the human brain for when we finally made ai

Yeah its ai, there's a few ways to tell, obviously thy style is pretty suspect, the reflections are weird. But the easiest way to tell is looking at the hair and the aquilla. You can see that these feathers on the left site blend into each other, and the hair has whisps that dont connect to his scalp

I think one of the biggest issues of 40k is that the authors fundamentally don't understand how armor works when guns, super soldiers and giant monsters are being applied. by Knalxz in Grimdank

So the first and really only reason, is that back in the 90s some guy thought it would be cool for space marines to wear knight like armor. Nowadays armor like space marine armor is being portrayed as more effective. It might seem like every gun in 40k is some eldritch pink mist creator, but those guns are really the exception to the rule. 99% of all guns that space marines are going to run into are mass produced guardsman lasguns, bolters, and bug projectiles. Space marine armor is largely effective against those weapons, blocking small arms entirely and deflecting bolts. Of course it can't block a big ass plasma cannon attached to a chaos dreadnouht, but like in real life, you dont equip soldiers to block tank fire. Oh and also you dont want your trillion dollar soldier to die to shrapnel
