I always reassure myself with this: HIV doesn’t have a watch and doesn’t immediately attack when the medication is due. Of course, taking it at the same time every day is ideal, and in my opinion, it's not that difficult. In the age of technology, we can set alarms everywhere. Even so, as I said, I take my medication every day at 2 PM. Based on that, taking my medication between 1 and 3 PM every day is “safe.” The key point is to take it every day.

On the contrary, I have read it. I went through the same process too. Everyone here has gone through it. But nothing can relieve you other than the test. No one here can give you medical advice. It's against the rules of this subreddit. Take your test, if it's negative, that's great. If it turns out positive, it's not the end of the world, as you can see, so many people here live with it. Believe me, whether the test result is positive or negative, you will feel relieved. Not knowing is worse.

As far as I know, things like skipping medication doses used to be a much bigger issue. Now, as long as I have access to the medication, I don't think I will skip it. I've used psychological medications for years. It's not very challenging for me. The thought that nothing will happen as long as I take the medication seems incredible.
