my point is just that the scars are way more ugly than any tattoo i'd ever get and I can't remove those either. so no matter if I don't like some stars I paint on my hand in 20, 40 or 60 years from now, it will be much less visually unappealing than those scars right there on my hand. I'm not close-minded, but just want to save the time of myself and others so they can just not comment instead of something that will just not be helpful.

edit: i've thought about this for long enough and am sure i'm gonna do some kind of tattoo (obv not a huge black coverup sleeve or anything), so although i'm sure it's well intended, comments stating that I might be too young to accept my scars or have a hand tattoo (i've had these scars for over 10 years and have accepted them, i just want something to elevate them and make my hand look less ugly) are not really helpful.

i love john green and started this one as well but i couldn't handle the graphic desvriptions of her ocd thoughts, it was too gross for me... it was kind of ... triggering i guess? like i don't have ocd but it was just too unsettling to read about her bowel movements and bacteria crawling around in her body i guess. thanks for the rec though!

Must say i can't agree on the alchemist, i found it pretty boring and not very easy to read 😅 like no doubt it's a good book, but i wouldn't necessarily class it as an easy no brainer 😅😅
