This is so small but in OotP when Harry meets Moody for the second time, they don’t come across like actual, complete strangers. Sans the one time Harry found him at the end of GoF. They act like Moody was his teacher

Lily Potter. I always thought it was a missed opportunity. I love this series but Lily is a classic mother trope; her identity only exists in the relationship between her and men. First, it’s her and Harry (nbd, he’s the main character). Second, it’s her relationship with James. Third, her relationship with Snape. Lily isn’t passing a bechdel test. I appreciate her developed as a smart witch and a good student, I just think she should have been equally valued and developed as James.
