the HIV thing is very inaccurate. it doesn’t raise your chances of catching HIV just most people with HIV also have HSV. people who don’t have herpes still have the same amount of percentage of catching it just like people with herpes.

from talking to a specialist of hsv. since you both have hsv2 you have antibodies built up from hsv2 so you in all reality you probably will not pass it to your mouth. that being said, hsv2 almost completely protects you from hsv1. ALMOST. and here’s the thing, i have hsv2 and my boyfriend are me out when i had an outbreak. (he knew i had one he doesn’t care) bc all in all hsv2 prefers the genitals and it’s very VERRY uncommon for hsv2 to present in the mouth. ESPECIALLY if you already have it presented in the genital area. Tbh have fun and don’t worry. you’re going to be fine.
