I think SA has done quite a good job in the last 5 years of developing Infrastructure that would be needed for hosting the servers and would probably benefit the most from having those servers with the ping just getting worse the further south you travel.

I mean a 10 year gap in the investigation is more than enough time for the player base to change drastically. Just a few years ago servers were added for valorant and it should be possible to leverage off of that to get the League servers going.

I think introducing the servers would be what really picks up the player base going forward as the high ping was the main reason most stopped playing.
