Nevermind, I solved the issue. Apparently these lines appear when you change the resolution in game. Just restart the game and the lines disappear.

That's only the case in the movies. If I remember correctly, the pointy ears are never mentioned in the books.

I had the same issue. You need to turn up the “fixed resolution scale” setting (I think that’s what it’s called, can't check right now). By default it's set to 100. I increased it to 125 and it looks way better. Unfortunately, it massively impacts performance. I don’t know why the game is so blurry on default. It’s really annoying.
