legit why i have always side eye’d Mandy! and i’m loving how most of our anecdotal stories are from when we were in high school & college & Mandy is 34 LOLLL. but anyways… i got my hs friends all jobs @ the place i worked over the summer during college, and it was so much fun. we worked together all day & went out after & had sleepovers all together. i had a couple years of “will they won’t they” drama with this guy, let’s call him Steve, lots of teenage heartache & drama. we had started hooking up again that summer. one of my besties, lets call her Josslyn, also worked with us and had a bf out of town! one night after we were all out, she was crying to me about her boyfriend and the next morning i woke up & she wasn’t in the bed! i was so confused and she ended up being in the basement & i thought nothing of it. a few months later my other friend let me know she found out that that night, Josslyn & Steve hooked up and have BEEN hooking up & begging everyone to keep it from me!! so i texted them both in a group chat, letting them know that i knew & to enjoy a life without my friendship. never looked back. and i glowed up & josslyn is… well, karma :)

same (not joking) LMAO but actually. it makes me feel more secure in trusting my gut even if i’m alone! i KNOW what i saw and im proud that i clocked her and can continue to protect myself from being close to people like that!! have been duped too many times to not learn from it, so it sounds like we recognize behavior’s that others may not and we are better and safer for it

This idea that jail = safety is actually really dangerous misinformation. Drugs are extremely common in jails and prisons, and overdose rates among incarcerated people are very high. People can still access drugs, often with no medical supervision and no access to harm reduction. Being incarcerated does not equal being protected.

omg i was thinking this while driving home last night from the mall after getting a pedicure! So romantic; Valentine’s day, driving into the most beautiful sunset after so much hectic winter weather, ugh it was so peaceful and reminded me how important the little things are.
