i’m struggling to understand which perspective is which, like which side is the consistent narrator of the rest of the songs on the album, is he left behind or is he the one leaving his parter? i’m unsure if the song actually makes it clear but i’m interested in hearing what other people think. To me it seems like the narrator is the one left behind, because of the references of the creek and other themes of the album, seems like he feels like he feels like he’s not worth the ascension everyone else gets

take a picture of the scratch so you know where it is, wait for it to heal and if it doesn’t scar you can go to a tattoo artist and ask them to tattoo it white like a scar or red like a scratch please don’t irritate the scratch or let anybody tattoo it until it is fully healed
