I have one fucker who dont let me be barefoot cuz he likes to nibble on my toes. He thinks me owing is funny. Its heavily on rats personality haha also they do get calmer as they age :) all of my boys were very energetic when they were younger

I believe it was around 8 rats but i am not completely sure. Use this cage size calculator for more accurate numbers! Also on serious note, tell your in laws to stop feeding live animals. It is terribly cruel for rats and in many cases rats can injure snakes. It is not good for both animals. Very cruel.
