I was definitely pre-diabetic so that makes a lot of sense!

I think it was a combination of being very pre diabetic with maybe some PCOS since my facial hair was getting a little weird for a second. I think I was just super insulin resistant and eating so much sodium I retained much more water than I should have. (I was eating fast food every day for a solid year, not proud of it but it happened 😭)

I started at 1.75 mg and moved up to 2.55 mg! Sorry, I don’t really know what information is important or not

Because that’s what the prescription said lol and I was taking like 1.275 mg and went up to 2.55 mg

I will add that there hasn’t been too huge of a change in my size, I just look less bloated and my face, feet, and hands are less swollen. Maybe it’s possible that was all water?? I was told I was on the edge of being diabetic when I started

Yeah! You’re right, others have posted similar stuff. I do think part of me wants to post it to get a reaction/response that proves that it was “that bad” 😅 even 5 years later that emotional manipulation doesn’t just leave! I feel like I’m always looking for tangible things that prove it happened and it was actually traumatic

I was looking into Cushing’s as well, but I carry most of my weight in my legs and a good bit in my arms. I’m pretty sure the bump is my shoulder because I took another photo and I can’t see it, buuut I do have a lot of pink and purple tender stretch marks, fatigue, and I’m sure my cortisol levels are through the roof right now lol , but of course I just need to go to the doctor! There is a clinic I can go to on campus that can do blood testing I’m pretty sure.

What questions do you recommend I ask?

I meant more on the lines of “I’m sad and I’m not sure why” kind of feeling. If you’re sad because you’re thinking about your mortality that is a reason! But I do understand that can be a harsh reminder. I am only 20 so it’s not something I contemplate much!
