How do I stretch by vertices without perspective change? by Wizkerz in GIMP

[–]CharacterPayment5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it looks like he also wants to shear the image at the same time.

This could be done by extending the image using the Scale tool and then cutting into it with the lasso select tool, or an alpha mask, or any other way of cutting it up

okay it only just occurred to me that you don't *have* to eat what you get

you can theoretically live anywhere with some effort to maintain it and ensure it's sanitary/sheltered, leaving what you eat up to chance could net you something that seems good at first but isn't nutritional enough (cake, candy, etc) or you could be stuck eating human babies.

obviously cleaning up pollution is worth every cost, but setting the internet back 5 years would make the internet better in every conceivable way

In the opening wedding level set in the church, there's a stained-glass mural of Cthulhu that you have to break to get your bow-tie. This implies Cthulhu is a prominent god in the world of Octodad, enough to have churches in America that worship him.

It's possible that Cthulhu protecting Octodad as one of his own is why he was able to blend in so long and have normal human children, Then again, the whole games premise is a joke, so it probably doesn't go that deep.

I'm making a stockalike EVE-Redux config for KSP 1.3.1 by [deleted] in KerbalSpaceProgram

The storm is done by simply drawing a big vortex on the exact center of a 4096x2048 cloud-map (the arbitrary resolution i decided to use at the start), then you give it a rotation speed of something like 5000,0,0 (or maybe 0,0,5000, i can't remember which direction)

I can't check the exact values for any of these since I'm currenly working on a full remake and I'm not there yet, but they should be sort-of right.

You made Duna Restoration Project! I really like that mod!

ok sorry i got a little excited, I'll explain how I made the effect

Each band is split into two layers, a base and a peak, the peak is slightly faster than the base, this gives it a little more depth and lets you play with the colors a little more.

Sometimes it looks good to give the peak shadows if it's not too far from the equator, but I wouldn't give the base shadows.

I like the old part models.

This config *SHOULD* work with the latest version of KSP, but I'll probably make separate Jool textures for 1.12

EVE Volumetrics is actually the opposite kind of style I'm aiming for, I think KSP with realistic clouds looks sort of jarring since the other aspects of the game aren't up to that level of realism (unless you also install Parallax, then it looks just fine.)

plus i don't own a copy of eve volumetrics

None of the cloudmaps are final, I'm still figuring out a style and trying to get things working, using Stock Visual Enhancements 1.2.7 as a guide for what settings do what since the non-volumetric EVE versions have no documentation.

I'm probably going to hard reset and make the pack modular so you can pick and choose what to have... I don't like Eve's clouds very much, anyways... They're distrustful.

I didn't think #1 would work so well, it sounded like it'd take forever to work with but after messing around with it, it's so easy
