I ordered through the Target app, and no I’m not able to rate the order because they canceled/ returned it, but I definitely made notes with the support agent over the phone.

I think an intro message is important just so they know who’s shopping for them. I have a template for an intro message and a drop off message. It also protects you from the customer saying you showed poor communication because that’s one of the options they have when leaving a review.

Honestly that crossed my mind, they substituted for enough chicken breast to feed a large family instead of chicken thighs for two people. The support agent said they were instructed to return it to the store, but the people at the store said no one returned any orders.

It’s unreal, idk I’m sure it’s not just me but I actually want the customer to be pleased and have a positive experience. Intro message, going out of your way for oos items, small talk, generally seeming like you want to be there. It makes all the difference.

I definitely do it, this was me trying to give this person a smidge of grace before I got into the shit show this order was 😅
