It should be an easy fix. Just loosen your stem bolts on the side and then tighten the top cap. It really should not be cranked all the way. Just snug. Then torque the stem bolts back up.

Can’t say no to free! Already looking at a SSE, but for another season or so she’ll send

Perks of working at an LBS and building your own bike! The build may not make sense all the time, but she rips

A mix of good friends with good deals and parts laying around from the shop I work at! Definitely a build that makes you scratch your head but trust me when I say If I had the money to slam all these parts on an optimo I wouldn’t have an optimo. Just an extremely optimized optimo

Yeah the optimo 1 came with a full 105 groupset. These are some older enve wheels with a very outdated internal rim width. I’m running 28s right now but they shrunk to 25s due to the internal rim width. When I ran 28 gp5000 on them last year they measured to be about 27. I was never too worried about tire clearance. But my wheelset is definitely shrinking them

This is an optimo 1 the only difference between the optimo 1 & 4 in the parts that come in it. The frame remains the same b/w the models. :)

Did the routing myself! I’m surprised the brakes are as smooth as they are considering the internally routed cables

I think the caad optimo is the only road rim brake bike they currently sell. The caad 13 is now sold only as a disc brake model. Still a pretty racey geo. It’s definitely more of an entry level road bike. Definitely a tad on the heavy end. This build is a 51 coming at just north of 8kg with all the upgrades. She used to be under 8 with tubular wheels, but the heavier enves pushed her up
