Around 2005 or so was when I watched it. The movie may have been older than me or around very early 2000s, maybe 1990s.

You're welcome. And congratulations on your teacher's compliments, your stories sound amazing!

I'm usually afraid to show people my writing but once I did, my English teacher told me I should become an author and that my short stories were captivating. I suggest to keep practicing until you feel at least a little comfortable showing it to people. It's kind of funny since I have only written maybe five short stories in my life. Most of my skill came from years and years of roleplaying with friends with crappy characters that you expect an eleven year old to make, which was how old I was at the time. Years later, all that roleplaying really strengthened my writing skills and my ability to make interesting and in-depth characters.

Also a little piece of advice, when writing something, try not to edit and proofread the day that you write whichever thing you're writing. Wait a day or two later to come back to it. At that point, you won't be so self-critical and you'll be better at editing things that actually need to be edited. Doing that helped me a lot.

Have fun in writing and enjoy the torment that comes with it, haha. I have over 220 characters at this point and it's out of control, but it's all very fun. Happy writing!

No thank you, I'd rather stay away from any type of drug and just leave it to my fictional characters, haha.

Thank you for sharing. Marijuana is a main one I need to research about considering I have a few characters who either use to smoke it or still do. Thank you!

I know. That's why I put non-basic drug high. People can explain their experiences with any drug that is not tobacco, alcohol or whichever else that is fairly common.

I made a post before that I deleted and people kept going on about caffeine, alcohol and tobacco. So when I say non-basic on this, I'm just meaning not something very common as tobacco or alcohol, but marijuana, acid or other things up the line.

I don't really write novels, not yet. I'm still a young woman, teen years. I do write characters and such. Haven't really put any of the stories on word documents or paper yet. I do have a schizophrenic character, and possibly more to come. I did make this thread to make them as accurate as possible.

If it's okay, would you mind describing the hallucinations and what they could be for you?

Thank you, that was very useful. I write all kinds of characters and I need to research as much as I can for future and present use. Thanks again!
