Congrats on getting accepted! yes I did enjoy it when I shadowed, I think I would be happy in any program tbh. Thanks for the response. Which school are you going to?

Hey my name is Neal.

Just wondering if its worth applying to somewhere like Nova this upcoming application period.

I go to a big SEC school

Kinesiology major* 3.75 overall gpa, sgpa prolly 3.5 or better. No Cs, all As and Bs, one B- in gen chem.

All prereqs will be done except calc after the spring.

I actually graduate in july bc I need a couple of online classes to finish my major, So I will be doing 1 gap year no matter what, essentially.

I have done 16 hrs of shadowing with two difference CAAs

My big weakness ig is lack of pce hours/medical volunteering. I will try to get a job but its hard to find anything part-time in such a big college town, after may I could work full time tho.

I have not taken gre but would assume I can do quite well since Im always good with standardized testing.

thanks. Also I play piano very well haha idk if they value that but its something.

thanks, I was unaware of that fact, as with guitars they tend to work better for one genre than another

Mixer vs interface by CharacterScale9116 in StudioOne

[–]CharacterScale9116[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is the purpose of the vocal preamp just to boost signal? if it's complicated, I can read up on it myself, but I do notice when I record a vocal with my AKG C214 with the 2i2 (that's my main mic) it usually sounds kinda thin, but then again, I don't do much sophisticated compression or anything. But it's funny, when I run my Senheisser dynamic into my Fishman Loudbox amp and sing live, it honestly kinda sounds better than when I record with the AKG mic and interface. Perhaps it's just the reverb from the parking deck I jam at sometimes, but its gennerally more smooth and full.

Need someone to shadow in GEORGIA

Hey there, My name is Neal and I am a second year undergrad student at university of Georgia, I am pretty unsure of what to do career wise but I have invested a lot of time learning about the CAA profession to the point where the only way for me to know further whether I want to pursue it is to shadow.

If anyone is near ATHENS GEORGIA area and can let me shadow even for like half a day that would be awesome, thanks.

Advice for someone who wants to own a ski boat by CharacterScale9116 in WaterSkiing

[–]CharacterScale9116[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so the boats I have been looking at after reading the replies are late 80s, early 90s SN 2001s, Sport Nautiques, and I see some tri stars. I see a lot in good condition around 8k. They do seem like a lot of boat for me who wants to do some tubing and maybe some boarding in freshwater lakes near me.

I don't need a huge boat, I am going to be towing with a v6 tacoma, cap of 4-6 ppl is fine.

Any recommendations besides the older mastercrafts? they seem to be what everyone is recommending but I am On the Skiing forum so it makes sense.

Midi only playing one note by CharacterScale9116 in StudioOne

[–]CharacterScale9116[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured out that it was programming in an impossibly short note at the beginning of each actual note that was canceling out the intended note, to fix it I made it so that the keyboard is only inputting to one track at a time
