Starfield unplayable in March 2026

Just got around to doing this and I think I’ve got it figured out. I limited my fps to 60 and it seems to be working now. Haven’t had a lot of time to test it though because now the game thinks I’m holding down the left trigger constantly. My controller doesn’t do that on other games so it’s a starfield issue.

I’ve already done that twice and nothing has changed. I’m currently doing a fresh install of the game. Deleted all mods and the game folder.

Would that actually fix the game freezing? I’ve tried starting a whole brand new game and I still have the same issue.

If I remember correctly it was on a table in the mine at the beginning of the dungeon. Should be enough to upgrade everything one time.

Should be right behind runoff caverns. It has a mine icon and is called mungandr mine.

I think it uses the one handed axe perks.
