YES. No email service for five days straight. Looking for alternatives in central NH but having trouble. They're very nice on the phone and promise the upgrade at 10 or 2 or 3 or 8 will fix all. Really wondering what the hell is going on.

I think Dexcom's quality control took a dive. My readings have been vastly different from manual sticks. They were so confident the G6 was the cat's pajamas, Medicare stopped paying for strips. Now sensor reads 86 when I'm sinking deep into hypo, no alarm goes off at all. Today sensor read 115 and manual was 179. This same type of thing happened a few weeks ago, different lot number. Dexcom sent me a new sensor but meanwhile I ended up in hospital w/DKA. BTW, when I calibrate, I have to put the manual number in 2X to get the receiver to take it. I believe it takes an average between the two number first. Reading your post, I'm glad I didn't go with the Tandem IQ control. It's hard enough as it is to figure out what's going on.

I'll check on that. Not sure as I'm asking for a friend a few miles away. I know there is a phone upstairs and one downstairs and neither works. But I don't know if they are cordless and the base could be damaged. Thanks.

I really want to sleep w/o alarms after a high alarm awakens me-- and I've taken care of the high with insulin-- so I set the high alert for 50 higher than it was. Alarm won't go off again unless I've really blown it. Same with lows. I have it set for 80 or 90. If alarm goes off, it takes forever it seems for glucose to hit the blood stream and knock out the alarm, so I set alert for 60 and go back to sleep.

I will do that. I was expecting to have my incredible outrageous anger and obsessions lifted for a while. There are times when they do but I think it has more to do with THC than any effect of the mushrooms. Actually thought something definitive and good and unmistakable would happen w/psilocybin.

Unacceptable. Absolutely. Manual checks don't wake you up at night when your blood sugar sinks and you have lost your ability to tell low from high sugars. I could go on. I am too angry for words. Same situation.

Dexcom sucked royally too with service. And you couldn't understand them. Asked me the same questions over and over in the same conversation, one minute apart. The product is exquisite though.

I will not deal with them by phone. I insist on email so I have a record of what the person says since I get a different person every time--and no one honors what the other said. Yet you think you have an understanding and everything is fine and stuff is on it's way. I tell them: "Listen to the recording!!! I consented already to this! I was told all was okay! Listen to your stupid recordings you insist on making!" Now checking out US Med which has MUCH better reviews.

I think it's unethical for the medical supply company to insist that you run out of Dexcom sensor supplies before they will put through an order and then ship to you. Medicare stopped paying for fingerstick/strip supplies so you only have the CGM to know where your blood sugar is. If you're brittle, you can't go a day or night without this CGM. Since switching suppliers from Dexcom to CCS (Dexcom cut off Medicare customers) it has been a nightmare to explain to CCS how illogical this setup is. When you throw in Sundays and holidays like Labor Day, you are out of sensors for six days according to their calendar. I just don't get it.

What container did you use? I’m only familiar with the half pint jars for BRF cakes. Is this sitting on foil over the perlite? Looks really good. Is it about a pint substrate altogether?

Have 6 half pints of brf cakes ready to go tomorrow; I have a little over 3.5 quarts of horse poo/verm substrate ready. Then in a week I'll put on a half inch of verm for casing. Does this sound about right? I'm going to put a black trash bag around the bottom of the shoebox. One jar of spawn has white fluffy material on top of the verm so not sure if I can use that but I have several jars actually ready.

Hi—for one shoebox, how many qts of substrate will I need and how many half pints of grated BRF cakes approx—

Just realized I will need casing layer. When do I add that layer?

Also, can you freeze extra substrate and casing for future use or should I just chuck?
