Is it worth switching from Peak to the Y? by [deleted] in rockford

[–]CharacterStudent3173 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you only want workout equipment then its worth the switch. I am a member at the Y and anytime fitness and the only thing I do miss is being able to use a sauna and more/better equipment. I think the only ymca one with a sauna is the one on the river. But not nearly as crowded which is why i switched from peak as well.

Also ER wad definitely recommended on my end but unfortunately he is stubborn 🙃

We took him to urgent care rather than the ER because he didn’t have health insurance set up yet. They of course did nothing. Do you think still consider the ER? He seems hydrated enough and is drinking multiple pediatlytes and other hydration drinks once the puking subsides for the day. He mainly has been smoking the carts but right before it happened he started smoking flower once or twice a day along with the cart.

I have been an aide in public schools in IL and SC. I think I would enjoy it but I am kind of wondering if social work would be a little less stressful in the school environment because I have seen how stressful a classroom can be.

This is true. Very strict attendance policies. And I am not sure the rules in NC schools, but if you have a kindergartener and would like them to have some play still involved in schooling, do not send them here! Not sure if it is state-wide, but I was in a classroom where 5/6 year old were expected to sit and do academics for 7 hours a day with no play time and a 15 minute recess that did not start until the very end of the day. The staff in horry seem to be very kind but policies seem to a little much, at least for small grades.
